St Peter-in-Chains is a large Parish and many hands make light work. These are the Parish Aims, and the people who are currently involved in running the Parish, although many more people contribute their time and effort for the general good of the Parish Community. |

The current Parish Priest is Father David Irwin.Ordained as a Catholic Priest in December 1995 he previously served as an Anglican Parish Priest in Sydenham, Ealing Broadway and Willesden Green for twenty-six years . He was also a Canon of the Anglican Diocese of Kumasi and Cape Coast in Ghana. He previously served in the Catholic parishes of Our Lady, St. John's Wood and Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Eden Grove Holloway. He is the spiritual director of the Union of Catholic Mothers in the Westminster Archdiocese and a Magistral Chaplain of the Order of Malta. In residence is Fr Pius Sibanda, a Diocesan Priest from Zimbabwe who is a seminary rector. He is residing here while studying. Our Parish Permanent Deacon is the Reverend Michael Bykar, who was ordained in June 2006. Deacon Michael is married to Jane with two children, Hannah and Peter. He is a school teacher with special needs children and a JP, This parish was previously served for 110 years by the priests belonging to the Canons Regular of the Lateran, (CRL). They founded the parish and their banner is shown on the right, and there are many references in the church of St Peter-in-Chains to St Augustine and the CRL.

The Parish Secretary is Jennifer Graham-Dillon. She has been involved in the parish for a number of years and has been working for the Parish since late November 2002. Jennifer works in the Parish Office on Monday Tuesday, Thursday and Friday each week from 9am- 3pm and Wednesday from 9.00am - 4.30pm..See the Parish Home page for contact details. |

The Parish Team is currently made up of the following people - Sr Margaret Corbett, Sr Anne Heaney,Sheila Doyle, Gabriella Olaniran,Chris. Hannington, Margaret Finn, Margaret Maloney, Graham Summers, Jim Donoghue, Steve Bethell, Debbie Eddleston, Claire Carballo and Jennifer Graham-Dillon. They meet with Fr David on a regular basis to discuss issues which affect the Parish, such as the Parish calendar, building repairs, liturgical ceremonies, the hosting of events, and other matters, comments and suggestions that Parishioners bring to their attention. In order to produce this web site, the Parish Team formed a Steering Group to help specifically with this project.
