Site Information and Help

This web site was developed in order to provide another method of communication to 'promote the Kingdom of God proclaimed by Jesus Christ'

The site was produced by Marion Gaskell with the help of Father Garry Murphy (our previous Parish priest), the Parish Team, and particularly Colin Davey, Sr Ann Heaney and Sr Odile, together with a great deal of input from Parishioners.

However, the work is not over, and all web sites need to be updated regularly in order to survive. If you have any suggestions or comments on this web site, or would like to help to maintain it, please contact Father David.

Navigation Help

There are several ways to help you to find your way around the site:

1)
A graphical Site Map is provided.
2)
A section displaying Site Links and Description of each pages is provided.
3)
At the left side of every page there is a main menu which lists the main options(links). Click on the link to go to the page required.
4)
At the foot of each page next to the word 'LINKS:'is a list of all the pages (irrespective of whether it is a main page or a subsidiary page). Click on the link to go to the page required.
5)
When an option is chosen, (as in sections 1 & 2 above), the current link turns red, and the previously visited links turn purple. This enable you to see where you are, and where you have been.
6)
At the foot of the page next to the word 'PATH:' notes the way to get from the Home page (the first page), to the page you are on currently. You may not have got to the page by using this route, but this is the simplest path to that page.
7)
Where an section is chosen within a page, for example, a Sacrament on the Sacraments page, the heading for that section will contain a cross symbol ( ) to the right of the heading. To get back to the top of the oage, click on the cross symbol. (Note that the background colour of the symbol is irrelevant to its function).
Site Map

Starting from left to right, this diagam shows a route to each of the pages within this site, using the main menu to the left of each page, and special links within the page itself, starting at the home page (first page). External links are not noted in this map. Site Links and Description

At the foot of each page is also a list of links to all pages within the site.

Copyright Information

Several people have been involved in the development of this web site, and hopefully many more people will be able to contribute in the future.

Marion Gaskell created the style and template for this site, enhanced the photographic images, and worked with members of the Parish Team Steering Group to develop the text contained in the site. Many of the photographs of the church were taken by Father Garry Murphy (our previous Parish priest). Other photographs were taken by Robin Humphreys (of Robin Humphreys Photography, N4,- 020 8340 8604), who retains the copyright in those photographs, although we have been granted permission to use them for specific purposes. We have also been given permission to use certain logos.

Copyright issues are not necessarily straightforward in a joint and on-going project; however, every person deserves to have the rights in their own work, and in the ownership of the work respected.

Although it deceptively easy to copy any asset, - text, photographs, graphics etc. from the web, kindly ask permission first from the Webmaster of this site if you wish to use any part of this site, who will then be able to provide information on the copyright relating to each asset.

It is also acknowledged that this site was developed using support and resources provided by London Guildhall University (now, London Metropolitan University).
