Message from Sister Odile (St. Gildas') “Thank you to everyone of you who made my Golden Jubilee day on Saturday 17th July such a wonderful, happy celebration. My warmest thanks for all your wishes, cards and gifts. May God bless you. Sr. Odile
Eucharistic Ministers During August when many parishioners are away on holiday, please would all Eucharistic Ministers go into the sacristy in good time before every weekend Mass they attend, to let the priest know that they are available to help to distribute Communion. A decision can then be made whether to have communion under both kinds at the Mass.
Altar Servers During the holiday period there will not be a weekend serving rota. However we still need servers at both Sunday and weekday Masses – so please come to the sacristy whenever you are present. Altar serving is open to all who have received their first Holy Communion and we would like our young people and others to consider this ministry. If you would like to be considered for training as an altar server please contact Mr Andrew Lidstone on 020 8341 1388.
