| Welcome to Mass today |
Today, Pentecost we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit on the apostles. It is a mistake to see this coming as something that happened long ago and can never happen again. Through the prayer of the Church, the Holy Spirit comes to us today. Today Fr Pius is leading a group of parishioners on the annual Parish Pilgrimage to Walsingham. Please keep them in your prayers. |
| Sung Vespers & Benediction |
Sung Vespers and Benediction with May Devotions takes place this evening at 6.00pm and on Saturday morning after Benediction (10.15am approx). |
| May Procession |
Our Annual May Procession will, as usual, be an Ecumenical event shared with our neighbouring Anglican churches of Holy Trinity and Holy Innocents. It takes place on Trinity Sunday, May 18th beginning shortly after our 11.15am Mass at Holy Trinity Church (12.45pm or so) and the Procession will make its way to St Peter in Chains for the crowning ceremony. It is hoped that as many as possible will take part in the annual event especially our children and bring flowers to offer. |
