St Peter-in-Chains has many links with the wider community in addition to its links with the Parish schools and organisations. Some of these are listed below, together with their web site addresses (if they have one). The statue of Our Lady of Walsingham is symbolic of the link between St Peter-in-Chains and the pre-reformation Priory of Canons Regular at Walsingham. The statue is also symbolic of the good relations between St Peter-in-Chains and the Anglican Church of Holy Trinity in Stroud Green to which the statue is carried in the May procession each year. |

'Marriage Care is a charity operating across England and Wales. Its purpose is to help people prepare for, achieve and sustain successful marriages and to support them should their marriages break down. The charity was established in 1946 as the Catholic Marriage Advisory Council (CMAC), and in 1995 the organisation changed its name to Marriage Care to better describe its desire to serve the whole community.' |
